A Superstrada is an Italian freeway – where the Italians take an afternoon drive and turn it into a high-speed, no-holds-barred, sit-down-shut-up-and-hold-on experience. Our Superstrada is a California expression of a super-Tuscan style wine. We’re looking for total drinkability, with more heft than a straight Sangiovese but less density than a full-bodied Cabernet. With generous fruit on the nose, a full palate of richness, Superstrada will blow your hair back when served with steak or pasta.
